  @Nikki: Until a recent unfortunate turn while playing Scrabble with Phil, I thought that word was spelled “took”.

  @jake: It can be quite confusing at times; some may spell it with the “ou” combination (Touque), although not recognized in the Canadian Oxford Dictionary. Also, some people may confuse it with a “Toque” which is pronounced “took”, so maybe that’s where you went wrong in your Scrabble game
