I raise my voice and talk in this “why do you think you’re better than me” tone because I feel threatened by the person who is making me mad. If I’m in a car, I slam the door when I leave.

haha that was 2 answers in one.

I curse Odin and ask why he has forsaken me.

Boners: When I break a dish or break an egg yolk.

i start sweating. then i start pacing around, which turns into stomping. i might throw something. there is a lot of yelling and jazz hands. and then i go sit in my room after it’s all over and think of witty comebacks, even if i’m just pissed off at the dishwasher or something.

aside from boyfriends, siblings, parents and household/office appliances, it’s usually the giants and/or niners setting me off.

I clench my jaw and resist the urge to pound a fist on my desk or punch a wall. Once or twice a year I pound a fist on the desk. Once a decade I punch a wall.

I haven’t punched a wall in a decade. My temper is pretty controlled. I don’t have a lot of drama in my life, but based on the last two times I “lost my shit” (not my words), I can say it involves me usually being so shocked at how angry I am that I almost find myself defending those feelings with really clever and verbally assaulting retorts.
    Best of 2007-2009:
“You are both SELFISH FOOLS!” (take THAT! mean people)
“I am a nice girl. YOU are a very very mean man!” (yeah, old man at Costco!)

My natural reaction when I have lost patience with something is to turn red and then if that doesn’t do much to cry. Usuaully this defuses the situation because most people’s reaction is to make sure I stop crying. And then because I cried, my way sounds a lot better because I’m so emotionally invested in whatever the problem was about.

I like to bottle it all up instead of doing something, if I’m still upset about it usually a phone call to Mom to vent and all is right with the world again.

Bonus: My boss not understanding what I’m saying, which is usually what he’s saying just in terms he doesn’t understand.

My tantrums involve some crossed arms, violently walking or turning away from Peter, followed by the meanest things that I can think of saying to him..peppered with lots of “f you’s and you are an asshole”. I’m really mean and unfair while I’m in a fight. It’s not pretty.

    Bonus: Getting my feelings hurt

I have a violent temper and can go absolutely insane. I slam or throw things and raise my voice. I say the most hurtful thing that I can to the person who’s made me so angry, it could be totally unrelated to the situation. Like T I’m also very mean and unfair when I fight. I say a lot of ‘I effing hate you’s.

I usually spout off at the mouth, scowl a lot and grit my teeth and then cry a little bit after that.
