I see what you mean, that is one weird picture.
But all it is, is the person angled the camera differently.
The one on the left is still a little tilted.
OR, they could have photo shopped it.
Who knows… haha!

@Paige, the photos are identical, it’s just an optical allusion or something.

@Dav- I know this sounds picky, but have you put them in a grid in Photoshop? I am poor and no longer have the software to mess with them further, and would love to believe this is an optical illusion, however, when I cover one and look at the other, they still look different. Is this just me being overly picky?

@Tiffany!: I think it’s probably because your eyes trained themselves to believe one was leaning more with the first view, and couldn’t un-train themselves even when one is covered up. When I say “eyes” I mean “brains” of course.

I cropped the photo and laid one side over the other in “layers” in Photoshop and they are exactly the same.

Good work beth! I was wondering if this was real or not. I wonder if you are allowed in that tower? I bet you would feel really disoriented in there.

Ehhh, it was nothing. I love to nerd around with Photoshop and the like.
@dav I don’t know if you are allowed in the tower, but I know I wouldn’t step foot in it.

Thanks, Beth. I’m weeping into my iPhoto in jealousy
@everyone. The tower has been stabilized by some people from Paul’s and my UK university, Imperial College. People from that school also invented the pyramid shaped tea bag, which is almost as awesome as saving the tower.
