Oh I answered my own question in the post because I didn’t want you all to steal Raistlin from me.

oh god. i totally get the raistlin and caramon reference. i am a nerd too. dragonlance was my thing for a while.

I think ethan allan hawley from john steinbeck’s winter of our discontent is the fictional character i can relate to the most.

I want to be more like Philip Marlow and less like Patrick Bateman.

Phil, I feel like you are too busy being Orl Fane to be a dashing British knave.

Jon, yeah if anything I am like Marlow’s sucky partner who gets killed.

Oh also Jake I meant real books like Elfstones of Shannara. Not comic books. I mean comic books are for kids you know?

The French that DDS answered made me realize I am more like the narrator in “the stranger”.

  • 12 Joe // Nov 5, 2009 at 8:34 am

Thats weird, I didn’t realize “The Stranger” was narrated by Grenouille.

  • 13 phil // Nov 5, 2009 at 10:05 am

Joe, Grenouille’s main characteristic is that he doesn’t have a smell. You know this is your friend Phil, right?

I just assumed that that was a cologne you made for yourself to try and appear normal.
