I have a whole duffel bag of perfumes. I don’t keep them in there, but I know for a fact they fill the whole bag. Therefore, I smell good.

Bonus: I want people around me to NOT smell like cigarettes.

I asked this because deodorant companies think I want to smell like Musk. I want to smell like rye bread and success.

I want people around me to smell like peppermint soap.

I thought all along Musk was some smell Buffalo gave off to attract females. Now I find out deer give off the smell from a place between their stomach and genitals and the word means “testicle”. Great.
But I agree with you Phil, some fragrances are so strong! My brother wears Axe and I hate that shit.

Soap. I like smelling like soap (esp. Bronners peppermint) and I like other people smelling like soap.

@c lo – nothing better than washin’ up with some Bronner’s peppermint!

I would like to always smell pleasant but not over-powering. I occasionally wear perfume, but I prefer to smell a bit more like “myself”, the really clean version.

I’d like the people around me to refrain from smoking (ever) and smell like they give a damn about the noses that surround them. (Usually MUNI riders are big offenders on the latter part).

Shampoo, although this rarely happens because I was my hair like twice a week.

I like it when I smell like my food, which is always scented like sweet dessert foods. I usually wear one perfume for office and have one I wear for nights/weekend.

I’d just like others to you know, wash and be free of BO. I hate, hate being next to people with bad BO. Especially in small spaces, like planes, subways and shows. Everything else, like smoke, I can deal with.

Kenneth Cole’s Reaction cologne. That stuff fades out in like 10 minutes.

I want others to smell clean.

Beth I’m with you on this one! My nose is still sore from the cigarettes at Hardly Strictly. Yes, I know this sounds hypocritical because I smoked cigarettes for many years of my youth, but I’ve had my sense of smell back in full force for almost a decade now and I’m sensitive!
For smell> I’d like to smell like “clean”… mint perhaps? Mostly fresh showered smell. Or Michael Kors perfume. Men should definitely smell like “fresh out of the shower” scent because that is just dang sexy.

I want to smell like smoke, but not cigarette smoke. Campfire smoke.

I also like Bronner’s, but recently got more more into the lavender one than the peppermint one.

I want people around me to smell like fresh-baked cookies.

^ Jake, wouldn’t people smelling like cookies make you want to take a bite out of them?

I once dated someone who had a collection of Demeter fragrances.
Sushi, the beach, crayon, Jelly Belly’s, rubber, apple, and everything else under the sun.

I want to smell fresh and clean with a good touch of manly smell’s. I go for colognes that are not over the top but have notes of cedar, leather, cigar smoke etc..

I want people around me to not smell bad. I also really dislike the smell of strippers.

I don’t like perfumes and I don’t really want any one smell on me all the time. I like the smell of someone who eats healthily and bathes once a day. Human pheromones are good enough for me.

I hate anything perfumey. I looooove “foody” smells. My favorite (and now it’s the perfect time of year) is Pumpkin Pie Cupcake. It’s pumpkinny and spicey without having an overpowering cinnamon smell, and it has a sweet, buttery, caramelly “baking” smell. It rules. There’s one called Fresh Waffle Cone that only has that warm buttery baking smell. In the summertime, I use Bubble Gum or a one that smells like Fruit Punch.

CB I Hate Perfume is the way way better version of Demeter. They have one called Burning Leaves (it’s supposed to be burning maple leaves, so it has a slightly sweet tinge when it begins to fade), and it smells just like a campfire! It’s a bit odd to wear (probably better on a guy), but sometimes I’ll just wear a dab, and wear some Waffle Cone or Pancakes and Syrup perfume with it. Then it smells like slightly overcooked deliciousness.

Dan hates the Pancakes and Syrup one. He says it makes him sick, because I smell like Denny’s. :(

I like guys to just smell like themselves (clean), not cologney. I like other girls to smell fruity, but not perfumey. I don’t care if it’s a stripper smell, I still like Lovespell. I want other girls to smell like Lovespell, while I smell like food, haha.

I like to smell like vanilla or something more tropical like mango or papaya. I don’t wear perfume because it gives me a headache, but I do wear scented lotions.

I like people around me to smell like clean laundry.
