Gung hay fat choy to you Thadd! I’m looking forward to my Guantánamo closing party, the Knicks getting to the playoffs, the stock market rebounding, the Watchmen movie, the possibility of hardwood floors at my apartment, my father’s move to South America and my own trip to the Southwest.

I’m looking forward to the traveling I will be doing for work, the weddings (and rocking receptions) of a couple of my good schoolmates, a reunion in June, making the decision to get a dog or a smart car (or both) and a nice vacation sometime in late summer or autumn.

I am looking forward to warmer weather because I feel like its been colder than usual and I am over it. Last but not least, I am sooo looking forward to the next Harry Potter movie!

I’m not looking forwards to 98% of the year. However, the 23rd of May (graduation) and the 8th of August (my friend Fletcher’s wedding) are seeing me through

I am looking forward to the corner of my cube.

It has my monitor directly in front of me with my laptop/second monitor to my left and my bookshelf full of the detritus from 10 years of software development(CGI Programming on the World Wide Web, Effective STL, Windows 2000 Developer’s Guide, Official Wireless Application Protocol all soooooo relevant to my current day to day, totally) to the back-right.

Scattered on my desk in front of me are: a nerf football, an rj-45 crimper, a foam flip off finger I made from combining two Yahoo! #1 foam fingers, a half-eaten baklava from last week, 3 different half-eaten oat pucks, 5 non-disposable coffee cups each with differing amounts of dregs, 4 mobile phones some with missing batteries, a discarded checkbook, 3 different eyeglass cleaning cloths, a tube of airborne, 4 packs of gum with 1 total piece between them, 3 different notes from people telling me they had gone to lunch, a small tub of parmesan cheese and about 7-10 mountain dew cans (empty).

Just above me is a hanging “big thinkers” thought bubble where somebody had replaced “big thinkers” text in the thought bubble with a picture of a hamburger.
