It’s actually called Maidenform Stay Put Fashion Tape. At first glance one might think
“I don’t wear trampy clothes, I have no use for this”, but it has many uses besides taping your clothes to your body to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. I had to go out last Sunday, and the dress I had purchased was too long. I don’t dress provocatively, but being only 5’2″ most dresses are too long. My friend was going to show up in an hour, and I had never hemmed a dress before, so I didn’t want to risk ruining it. Then I thought “Maybe I can tape it?”. Regular tape would never work, but then I remembered I had a roll of this fashion tape. I originally purchased it because I wore a silk dress to my cousins wedding, and my bra wasn’t cooperating, so I taped the dress to my bra, and all was concealed. Anyway, I measured the length of the dress I desired, and lined the new hem with the fashion tape. I folded the fabric over, and the tape gave my new hem a pressed look and held it in place. It held throughout the entire night too. This isn’t the first time my boob tape has aided me in a fashion emergency. A few years ago when I was in the UK, my friend and I were getting ready to go out, when a decorative buckle on her shoe fell off. She was super bummed, but then I remembered I had boob tape in my suitcase. We taped her buckle on, and danced the night away. You might be thinking “why not use regular double sided tape?” This tape was made to be safe to use on skin, and fabric, so you don’t have to worry about ruining your clothes or anything. I think guys would benefit from this purchase as well. A broken zipper or loose button can happen to anyone at anytime. You no longer need worry about your shirt riding up and revealing a beer belly. I’m knocking a point off my rating, because it hurts when you peel it off your skin. They recommend using vitamin E oil to remove it, but who has time for that? It’s also difficult to remove the adhesive backing which can be frustrating when you’re trying to hem a dress quickly. You can order Maidenform Double Sided Fashion Tape on Amazon for only six bucks, but you can’t put a price on piece of mind.

I always heard it was expensive so I just always got ready at Beth’s house and used hers:) Glad to know I can afford it on a student budg.
Another good fix is blu tack http://images.ciao.com/iuk/images/products/normal/046/product-5330046.jpg . I once had sling back shoes that I loved, but my heels aren’t bulbous (read- ‘useful for wearing slingbacks) so they kept sliding down. I used blu tack to fix the strap along the line of the shoe around the edge of the heel and had these cute kitten heels with what appeared to be buckle embellishments at the heels:)
