If you were in charge of your own facist junta, who would you use as a scapegoat for all of societies ills?

Bonus points if the common person would realistically buy in.

Probably Scientologists but maybe bankers.

The rich. Greedy fuxors.

Companies getting a bailout from the government.

The illegal immigrants. Stealing jobs, using up social programs.

The NRA, but the Scientologists would be so much more fun! I would assert that Scientologists have been paying anti-environmentalists to parade as engineers within the larger American car manufacturers resulting in the cessation of forward thinking engineering.. All as a ploy to fail the US economy and crown Tom Cruise as King of Hubbardland.
Hell yes people will believe it. The truth in scientology is way more bizarre.

My mother is French, and when she went back to visit a couple years ago she came back to tell me that Scientology is considered a cult in France.
