The home and automobile of two professors were firebombed last week in Santa Cruz. This is latest in a series of animal related acts of violence upon the faculty. I don’t do research on animals, however, i do see it as a necessity in the quest for medical research. Now, the ATF and FBI are crawling the halls of my building. this made me so mad when i first read about… the tree sitting thing was if anything a little ridiculous and this is just horrendous.

I’m down with anyone who feels like doing non-violent protesting for these causes, but this stuff crossing way over the line.
