Tuesday: Napa in the sweaty heat, and unfortunately no wine. Made up for no wine in Napa with many drinks and trivia at Bitter End. Wednesday: Again, in Napa and opened new account, this qualifies me for a bonus. Then signed myself up for a multi-level marketing scam. Thursday: 50's sci-fi movie at DP. Friday: Ate a whole mess of Indian food that I am still regretting. Saturday: Picked up my favorite girl who returned from an escapade in NYC from Oakland Airport. Treated myself to a mani and pedi. Then was asked out on a date. An actual date. Not just an "uh, yo! Ya wanna kick it sometime?" date. Good Week. I was more exhausted on Monday because I had an even crazier weekend with my friends than normal. I had class Monday-Thursday, but classes are tougher because they are condensed for summer (on four hour class = ten percent of the semester!). My thursday afternoon beers at the chalet turned into a rough night in a private karaoke bar, and a Jameson hangover that was far worse than normal. My Friday reading to the second graders, we read more books than normal because it was their last day of school, and they gave me the raddest 6 page thank you card that would seriously make you melt by reading it. And the week concluded with a bbq on Sammy Carrs roof and a dance party in the kitchen. The bike tried to break on Monday. The 94 year old grandma fell and broke her hip on Tuesday. (she's all good now, pin in her hip- ready to walk again today) Wednesday was quiet. Thursday I rescued an ant. Today, what I though was a second problem with the Ford is not. The Dark Knight ARG started up again, and qualifying at MIS is rain delayed.
