A good reason to stick around. Space gods and promise of an awesome time after this horrible time is doing more harm than good these days.
I think we need to invent some device that has less bad side-effects than religion.

The other think that I wish could be invented is an edit link for my comments so I could fix plurality problems in my posts for example.

Time-pausing like in Out of This World. I always thought it would be great to stop time and get things done. Then I could take afterschool breaks, spending hours of work on papers, and still be able to see my friends.
Other than that I think its about time for a cure to cancer, and aids, and this damn (yes, I cursed because i ‘hateses’ it so!) supervirus that I keep getting re-infected with.

I think Tiffany’s idea is brilliant, however, I would use it to steal and take like there’s no tomorrow, grope hot chicks (and NOT get arrested this time!)… man, you’d totally be above the law! I’d go all out…
I would definitely redefine the meaning of “sucker punch”, and generally never work more than 4-5 hours a day… the rest I would just pause and continue the next day… however, if I can take anything from whomever I want, i dont need to work… so scrap the last point.

It would be really great if you could finally replace our unwieldy neckties with laser ties. But everyone knows Big Money is blocking that.
