I’m a painter and book lover. And I teach painting through a fellowship, and read to kids once a week. Right now I am just in school feeling like a robot. The occasional brilliant paper I write gives me a small break from robotdom, but mostly I’m waiting for spring break next week where I will paint every day.

I also play guitar, but that is so I can carry around a case on muni and pick up guys.

I draw sometimes or write, but robots can do that kind of thing nowadays. I hang out with actual robots so that the differences between me and them become more clear.

Every day, I make plans to write a bunch on the following day. I also make plans to write and play country songs with a couple of friends.
Making podcasts is kind of creative, and I do that.
To help remind myself that I’m not a robot, I punch a wall (robots’ hands don’t break as easily as mine do).

I really try to since I do call myself an artist. Lately though I have been doing more reading than creating but that started to change again a couple of nights ago. So yes, I do pen and ink drawings and I paint, usually I paint the drawings. Thanks for asking.

I like to draw. I used to like to paint. Well, I still like to paint, but do not have the time. I wish I were a robot so that I could be more efficient with my days and therefore have more time to paint.

I agree with Stefan, he is.
I go through periods where all I do is work and read the same 5-10 books over and over again.
To defeat this I usually try to draw and read classics until I feel better. I haven’t been doing any arts for a while though

My job allows me to be really creative. I get to design gifts like mugs for holidays, which is a bit cheesy but a lot more fun than anything else I’ve done. I also like to draw and I am looking into taking ballet classes soon.

I make kids’ birthday cakes. I make them for adults too. I can make a mean dinosaur island, Thomas the Tank Engine, or cat litter cake. I suppose it isn’t really art but it is the only thing I am good at. P.S. I use very few props so they are almost entirely edible.

the word “artist” makes me nauseus, and i try to avoid people who use this term, especially in reference to themselves. gross! i think taking photos while holding a jack n coke is an art form, and i dabble in that quite often.

Writing. Bass thumping and guitar plinking. Also Crafts! I make ruined wool sweaters into little monster heads with my family.
