Hungry Hungry Hippos isn’t really a board game so I say Chess, which I also think is the most popular board game.

My favorite board game is Pictionary, I love it. Second is Scrabble. Most popular I believe would be Monopoly or Scabble if I had to guess, which I think I did because I like Bonus questions.

i bet the most popular board game is risk, although perhaps it is just the oldest. i am a huge fan of scrabble. i like smoking weed and drinking beers and beating people who are really competitive. otherwise, i just like smoking weed, drinking beer and playing. i don’t mind losing.

Limiting this to games with boards has immediately eliminated two of the best games ever. I guess I’ll say Cranium because:
    1) It combines my favorite skills (drawing blindfolded, fun fact knowledge, playing with clay, etc.) into one crazy game.
    2) It has a board, thus meeting the above requirement.

Bonus: I think Monopoly is the most popular board game.

Nice how the new website remembers my e-mail address and name etc…
I think the most popular board game is Monopoly, which would also be one of my favorites.
However, this game here “Mensch ärgere dich nicht” (see link below) is really the best and most fun. It’s German (obviously). Don’t know what you infideles call it… but you better learn the German name anyway.

You may also want to educate yourselves, just so you’re ready when Germans take over…

When I was little, I was ‘the bomb’ at Trouble (with the pop-o-matic bubble), which I think is entirely due to how besides being very fancy, I am also very lucky indeed.
At the moment I don’t think that I own a game with a board which is sad. Further, Catchphrase, Big Boggle, and PIT don’t have boards :( So, I guess I have to stick with games of yore like Trouble or GirlTalk (which I never was lucky enough to own, but I bet that Walker did). :)
Bonus- I’d say MahJong or Monopoly because they are played with many variants worldwide.

I love Scrabble. I have loved Risk, with the right players. I am undefeated at Trivial Pursuit. I will choose Scrabble.

Sadly, Monopoly is probably the true leader, globally. Might as well bone up if you’re going to play.

Scrabble is my favorite. I’m torn between Chess and Monopoly being the most popular. I think Clue is pretty popular as well. I really loved Clue when I was a kid, as well as the Game of Life.
